Fans in London want Boom Boom back
LONDON: Supporters of all-rounder Shahid Afridi held a protest to show their support for him in Southall, London on Friday, Geo News reported.
Hundreds of supporters gathered in Southall and chanted slogans in the favor of former captain. They demanded that the board should resolve the issues and make his return possible in the international cricket soon.
The protestors said that they had bought tickets for Hampshire County Championship to watch their favourite star in the field but due to the cancellation of his No Objection Certificate (NOC) by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), they will not be able to watch Boom Boom Afridi in action.
The fans expressed their disappointment over the PCB’s action and said that Afridi united the team in the times of worst crises, therefore, the board should reinstate his NOC so that he can return to international cricket.
